“The Coalition” Announces Interception and Destruction of 4 Drones Targeting Saudi Arabia

Al-Taj News – The official spokesperson for the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, Major General Staff Turki Al-Maliki, announced the interception and destruction of 4 drones launched toward Saudi Arabia.

Al-Maliki explained, in a brief statement on Thursday, that the interception and destruction operations took place in the Medina Region and the Eastern Province, amid continued attacks by drones and missiles targeting Saudi areas.

The coalition had previously announced the destruction of a ballistic missile launch platform used by the Houthi group to launch a ballistic missile toward the Saudi capital, Riyadh, after the missile was intercepted and destroyed. It also announced, in a separate operation, the interception and destruction of a drone in the Riyadh Region.

These developments come amid an escalation in Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia, particularly those targeting airports and civilian facilities, coinciding with the continued military operations carried out by the coalition in Yemen.
